Note on Quantive: WorkBoard acquired Quantive (formerly Gtmhub) in May 2025. Quantive customers are moving to the WorkBoard platform, and quantive.com now redirects to workboard.com. If you are a Quantive customer weighing your options, this page applies to you too.

Choose WorkBoard if

  • You are a large enterprise with thousands of OKR users and need a vendor with Fortune 500 references.
  • You want AI agents that prep monthly and quarterly business reviews and coach leaders on 1:1s.
  • You live in Microsoft 365 or Workday. WorkBoard has a Copilot agent and is on the Workday AI Marketplace.
  • You have the budget and a team to run a 2 month rollout.

Choose stratbox if

  • You are mid-market and a five-figure annual contract with a long rollout is more than you need.
  • Your problem is less "we need better OKRs" and more "we set goals and nobody can see whether the work behind them is really happening."
  • You want each goal linked to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that deliver it, written for you by AI, so the know-how survives when a key person leaves.
  • You want owners to answer a short assessment on the procedure, not only move a progress bar.

Use both if

  • Your OKRs already live in WorkBoard and leadership reviews run well there.
  • The gap is underneath the OKRs: the recurring procedures in operations, finance or field teams that nobody checks.
  • You are fine keeping goals in both tools for now. We do not have a WorkBoard integration today.

What WorkBoard does well

WorkBoard has some of the best reviews in this category (4.6/5 on G2) and real enterprise depth. Its AI agents for portfolio analysis and business review prep are ahead of most tools, and the Microsoft and Workday partnerships make it easy to buy inside large companies. Reviewers do mention a learning curve and wanting more automation for updating results.

How stratbox is different

WorkBoard tells you whether OKRs are on track. stratbox also asks whether the procedure behind the goal is being followed, by the named owner, this week. That link from goal to SOP is the part we have not found in any of the major tools we compared.

What stratbox is not

  • Not a replacement for WorkBoard at a 10,000 person enterprise.
  • Not a portfolio finance or capacity planning tool.
  • Not a deep OKR suite with check-in coaching.

FAQ

Is WorkBoard the same as Quantive now?

WorkBoard acquired Quantive in May 2025 and is moving Quantive customers onto the WorkBoard platform. No financial terms were made public.

How much does WorkBoard cost?

WorkBoard does not publish pricing. Vendr reports a median of about $60,100 per year, based on deals it has seen. Your price will depend on users and modules.

Is stratbox an OKR tool?

Not mainly. You can set goals with targets, owners and deadlines, but the focus is linking each goal to the procedures that deliver it and checking those procedures are followed.

Can stratbox work alongside WorkBoard?

Yes, in principle. Some teams keep OKRs in one tool and use stratbox for procedures and accountability. We do not have a WorkBoard integration today.

Who is stratbox built for?

Chiefs of Staff, Strategy Ops leaders, PMO Directors and COOs at mid-market companies.

Last checked October 16, 2026. Competitor details come from each vendor's public pages and review sites. We do not link to them.
